Club Competitions
May:
22nd-23rd: Bob Cooper Memorial Open Competition - This is a social outing, and anglers can fish from a boat or shore, estuary, rocks, beach or offshore.
Results: Congratulations to Stephane Sidd with a great catch. Stephane was awarded the prestigious Bob Cooper Championship Shirt, proudly sponsored by Workscene and Mibyte Technologies.
June:
5th-6th: Rock Competition - This is a club competition and can only be fished from the rocks. There are boundaries.
Results: Congratulations to Paul Ryan. Paul was awarded the prestigious Rock Championship shirt. Go the mullet :)
July:
10th-11th: Boat Vs Shore Competition - This club competition allows anglers to fish from either a boat or from the shore competing against eachother to see who comes out the winner in each section.
24th: Hairtail Competition - This club competition is located in the Hawkesbury River and is quite a social event. The challenge is to catch one or more Hairtail. The weigh-in is at the Bobbin Head boat ramp.
September:
11th-12th: Deep Sea Competition - This club competition is held from a boat and specifically offshore. If you don't have a large boat, other members are more than happy to accomodate you.
25th-26th: Kingfish Competition - This club competition specifically targets kingfish, it's a challenge, but there are some really big fish making a great comeback.
October:
9th-10th: Mulloway Competition - This club competition specifically targets Mulloway. Mulloway is the holy grail of all estuarine fish species, and there are some really big fish to be caught.
30th-31st: Freshwater Competition - This club competition is held at Lake Lyell. It is a family oriented trip and we all go out there together and pitch our tents in a common camp. It is a great weekend, and catching Trout is usually a bonus.
